Attention of South Parks Allotment Members

As you are aware, an EGM was called regarding a vote for the devolution of Quinta Allotments away from Torquay Allotments on Saturday, 25th March 2023, at 11.30. The meeting will be held at Barton Church Hall. Allan Cavil of the NAS will be attending to oversee the meeting.

This is still going ahead as planned.

If, Quinta Allotments decide to leave the association, it will leave South Parks Allotment without a treasurer. It is with this in mind that we will require a vote from members of South Parks Allotment to elect a treasurer to continue the day-to-day running.

The elected member will work with the devolved associations, namely Quinta Allotments and Riviera Allotments, with regards to splitting funds and assets and feeding back to the committees. If you think you have the qualities to become a treasurer for South Parks Allotment and a member of this site, please let us know by emailing secretary@tahcal.co.uk.

South Parks Allotment treasurer will be elected by a show of hands at the upcoming EGM. Only members at South Parks Allotment will be able to vote for the new treasurer.

South Parks Allotment members are able to vote “for,” “against,” or “abstain,” allowing Quinta Allotments full devolution and, of course, all members from Quinta Allotment.
